What do I watch every fall season?

The leaves are beginning to change colour, the mornings are getting a little cooler and the urge for pumpkin spice is too strong to ignore. Fall is coming fast my friends and what better way to kick it off with some fall weather inspo by none other than Rory Gilmore. Our favourite IVY princess gives us a lot of fun vibes throughout the seasons. This seems more like an intro…there could be more drops to come!

Welcome to Stars Hollow! Anyone that’s watched this show will remember this sweater. I’m sure this Aritzia version is based off of Rory. I’ve updated her jeans but stayed true to her love of the lower rise. Her blue shearling jacket was also a constant in SH but I’ve given her this cute denim tie belt version.

School is in session!

This is a serious school...lots of pleats, plaids and neutrals.

Normally a 2-in 1 top would make me cringe. You know what else makes me cringe? Stuffing a woven top underneath a sweater or cardigan. We’re giving this one a pass for its ease and cute sailor collar.

A constant in Rory’s schedule is the Friday Night Dinner’s at her grandparents house.

Rory kept a pretty consistent outfit formula. Slip dress and topper...how original and classic. I stuck to her formula but added some toppers with more details; sheer florals and beads. She has two shoe options for either Chilton Rory or Yale Rory.

I could do a whole write up on Rory’s Yale glow up...maybe I will... but I chose some classics. She’s still rocking the plaid kilts but she loves a good mini skirt and tights. I gave her riding boots because a reporter is always on the move and needs to be comfortable and still look cute! She’s giving us lots of fall inspo!
